Spiritus Mortis: Fallen- I got one (yes, I wrecked the digipak cover into pieces, too ) and a couple of promos yesterday, thanks Vessiah! One promo is now touring Hellsinki Doom Mental scene so get the pantzer van ready to hit the road... - My Mitsubishi/Radiotehnika set and LG home theatre system both sound very compatible with the album. - I'm sure I will listen to this CD again. And again...

BATHORY - Blood On Ice, Nordland I & Nordland IISo far BOI listened once through. I had this one as mp3s and i was wondering how funny sounding these mp3s were. So, the cd has same sounds But "the Lake" is excellent song. And Nord I listened through, "Vinterblot" is excellent song. Bathory has quite raw sounds in their albums. A while ago I listened to the Nordland-albums almost daily. My favourite is Mother earth, Father thunder, but there's many great songs in those albums. (Vinterblot, Sea Wolf, Nordland...) Right now I have been mainly listening to Rage, because they are going to play a gig in Nosturi 24.3. and I'm pretty excited about it. That band has provided steady albums throughout their career. Sure is Peavy Wagner excellent song-writer. Personally I like the first Bathory album and first "viking" Bathory album. They both were unique and have feeling "I mean business" , have a serious attitude

Surprisingly I have also listened "Fallen". I like it; rocking and grooving.
And second one is Vintage Mortis live-cd from Sirppiliiteri. Heavy. And somebody says that you can not play metal with Epiphone and Marshall...

Stark Effect: Bunnyrabbits, Satan, Cheese and Milk
Beatallica's webmaster gone sample sick. That Miriam must be some doomed goth. On D^2's homepage one can find dozens of works in this genre.

Today I found the W.A.S.P. debut + "Last Command" double CD in a sale - VERY CHEAP!! I listened to the debut a lot back in '83, but grew out of it very quickly. I hadn't heard it for about 20 years! - I must admit it was great fun to listen to again.

Laaz Rockit - Anninhilation Principle
- Ok Thrash, with cover of DKs Holiday in Cambodia.
Krokus - Alive and Screaming
- "Live"? Good songs, good collection
Backsliders - Nobody Rides For Free
Biker rocknroll at its best.
Q5 - Steal the Light
- Excellent hard/heavy rock. Shame that second album was faceless boring shit.

Megadeth - 'Peace Sells...', 'So Far So Good...', 'Rust In Peace'haven't listened to these for quite a while, it was good to hear them again, they are more tuneful than I remember! Vanessa Mae - 'Storm'as close as I get to 'culture' ;D. I like her classical/pop mix. Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush - 'Live '78'Live stuff from Frank, 70's guitar hero. Dark Angel - 'Time Does Not Heal'not really a classic, but still quite good fun.
