Tätä asiaa on jo lievästi eri yhteyksissä sivuttu, mutta teenpä tästä oman lukunsa ja tiedustelen seuraavaa; - mitä piisejä Mortiksen pitäisi coveroida? Miksi?

Eikö Paranoid olisi asiaa. Miksikö? Menisi "soittakaa Paranoid" huutajilta jauhot kurkkuun.

I reckon SM should cover something completely unexpected and doom it up.
Maybe some classic thrash. 'Disciples Of The Watch' by Testament maybe, but nothing like the original of course - a little slower, but still up tempo for SM.
Fuck knows how it would work, but in my head it just does!! ;D

Electric Crown is a great track indeed, personally I think it'd be great to hear SM interpretation.
I think that SM would make a very good job of covering anything - maybe take something completely non-metal and with a little re-arrangement turn it into something really heavy?
'Mr Blue Sky' by ELO 'Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft' by the Carpenters 'Call Me' by Blondie, or indeed anything by Blondie.
These suggestions are of course a bit random! ;D

I think someday we'll try Uriah Heep's Gypsy again!

I think that SM should do a cover of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.I would love to hear what that sounded like.I still wish I could have heard the one that was done by the band and is listed on the June 1997 demo.I think that the band would do a great job with this song.

Iron Man would be nice, or Children of the Grave.

Hi, nice to have you here!
Iron Man would be nice, or Children of the Grave.
CotG is a great song and I was thinking about covering it back in the mid 90's but it has been done so many times that it is rather obvious

Well, if it's too obvious, what about Into the Void. Great riff there. In my opinion, Heaven and Hell would also be a fine choice, but what do you think about Dio-era-Sabbath?

How about: Blue Öyster Cult: - Cities in Flame with Rock and Roll ELP: - Living Sin/Black Moon The Doors: - Waiting for the Sun Ennio Morricone: - Once upon a Time in the West theme Queen: - Flick of the wrist Procol Harum: - Conquistador/Nothing but the Truth Strawbs: - Hero and Heroine Al these have some very suitable true metal values, lyric/harmonywise, I think. With Jussi/Kari guitar wall the keyboard parts would turn into solid concrete? And with Vessiahs vocals... Should this selection be totally rejected, I'll submit some Pink Floyd/The Beatles titles...

DIO-era-Sabbath would be fine, as you might have heard some of Vesa's songs sound rather much like that...

'Mr Blue Sky' by ELO 'Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft' by the Carpenters 'Call Me' by Blondie, or indeed anything by Blondie. What idiot would suggest these? They are stupid suggestions! I would much rather hear SM cover Dio's Holy Diver or Shame On The Night. Sabbath's Psychophobia or Back To Eden would be good. Edit: Oh yes, and Evil Eye too ;D

I just noticed that I want to hear Spiritus Mortis play Savatage's Hall of the mountain king. It's just so heavy and dark-atmospheric asskicker.
