Recordings for the fourth SM album will be started at week 51/2012
Basic tracks will be recorded at our second home, Pop-Artikkeli Studios.
Following songs will be recorded (working titles, no lyrics yet):
JuudasPriest, Hautajaiset, Kari 2, Warning, Ränttis, ComeAndGetThem, Alison, Dehumanoija, PyhäPillu, Laulunkohta, Itämaa and GatesOfBabylon.
From these 8-10 were(will be) chosen to the album.

Click-demo recorded on Base 211, Kari makes click/Pro-tools basic tracks from these.
Recording starts 26.12 with drums.

Check all pictures, hereSepi build the drum kit on 25.12 Note Sepi's right eye, some "creative" differences with Kari  Basic drum tracks were laid 26-27.12. First pic, guys listening afterwards. Second pic, Räpsy, Master Ketola and Lord Bärtil. Bass tracks added 27.12 (4 tracks) and 28.12 (8 tracks). umeeT and enough bass pedals. Note the amp settings, one for clean and one for distortion. So, at least five bass tracks on all songs, clean bass DI, clean bass after FX, distortion bass after FX, clean bass cabinet and distortion bass cabinet. Jussi 69 gtrs started 28. (6 tracks) and today rest (6 tracks). Some extra pics: Martti-papan uus koira! |

Rhythm guitars ok.
Today more Kari`s guitars and Hammond +piano. Next week some "spice guitars" and one strange instrument...
Sounds heavy.
Titles tell it all: JudasPriest, Funeral, Warning, ComeAndGetThem, Alison, Dehum, Saint..., GatesOfBabylon.

4.1.2013 Some saw played by Kai Lavila! Bass re-recorded to "Alison" and "Come and Get Them". There was strange difference in bass sound and we tried to fix that. And Tappara! "Kiva koila" was teased by Kari, check nokia video, here

All the Jussi`s guitars now played. All but one (the last one) songs played in "guitar directly to the amp ang Go"-style. Saw sounds strange and good. Rainbow style Hammond sounds also good. "The beast with floor brush" |

Just listened rawmix of two songs, working titles "dehuma" ja "hautajaiset", real titles, wild guess, "Robe of ectoplasm" and "I am a name on your funeral wreath".
Sounds great, Sami has again done greeaat job!

Two more rawrawmixes listened, working titles, "Judas" and "Itämaa", real names (wild guess), "Jesus Christ, son of Satan" and "Babalon Working"
Juudas sounded better, Itämaa was slight disapointment, mainly because I was expecting more.
